Sault Ste. Marie has two post-secondary education facilities, Algoma University and Sault College.

Algoma University

Algoma University located in the east-end of the city, provides an excellent place to receive high quality education and meet other students with common interests. Algoma University has a student population of approximately 1200. This small size allows for great interaction between students and professors in the classroom. Along with excellent educational standards, Algoma University also provides a variety of cultural celebrations such as Black History Month, a Diwali Dinner, Chinese New Year, Eid Dinner and Mexican Dance parties. Algoma University has an International Student Advisor on staff to assist international students with the adjustment to life at a Canadian university. Sault College of Applied Arts & Technology

Sault College provides high quality post-secondary education in various fields. From aviation to nursing to social working, Sault College offers it all.
